The nurses here are not so good. But I have to stay in here.

- Irene Teo Chai Yun: "Very terrible, we are stuck down here in this place, cannot go out. In addition, they force is to eat medicine here too.

- Lim Kim Liang - It's very unfortunate to have this doctor you know (Doctor Manu Lal). Keep me here for so long already. 2 weeks already. Usually I stay in for a few days and I'm out. Dunno there's something wrong with this doctor you know. I've asked around and all the people here also stay long term. It's the wrong thing to do you know. Once, the newspaper did talk about acute ward with patients' right on them not able to stay here too long. It's very unfortunate to have this doctor. I hope they change doctor soon.

Today is National day, but we are stuck in the hospital, in the dormitory without any television because workers are repairing the exit door. We can't even watch the national day parade on TV, let alone have ANY celebration here in this mental asylum. Foreign worker Philipino Nurse Clinician Narcissa Aquino De Leon disallowed us to watch the TV today. And I've interviewed one patient and this is what she says:

Tan B.G. says: "We are so unfortunate. Even the TV we can't also watch. Everyday we just stare at the four walls. We only know how to eat and sleep, eat and sleep in this place. This place is BORING! Desperate to go out. This place is a terrible place. Like hell like that. Cannot go out, isn't it like hell? Continued here. Living like this on earth had no meaning like that. Eat till you're full then sleep till you're full. No meaning. Today there's no newspaper too(chinese), we're going to bore to death.

Gen says: For me, I have stayed in IMH for SIX months. TOLERATING all the ABUSES the nurses rain on me.
